Welcome to my website!  I’d like to let you know a little bit about the journey that brought me back to Bishop England...

My BE bloodline runs deep, as both of my parents, my sister, my brother and I are all proud alumni! My mother, Alice Bolchoz, was a member of the faculty and staff at BE for over thirty years, and my father, Larry Bolchoz, served as assistant principal in the early 90’s. I graduated from Bishop England in 1984 and went on to graduate from Clemson in 1988. I first taught math at Bishop England’s downtown campus from 1989-1991. I left to get married in November of 1991. My husband, Joel, and I moved to the Bluffton/Hilton Head area, where we lived for nearly fifteen years and started our family. Our four children, Ryan, Molly, Maddie, and Allie, were all born in Bluffton and attended St. Francis Catholic School on Hilton Head. We moved back to the Charleston area in 2005, largely because our children were rapidly approaching high school age. We always knew that we wanted our children to go to Bishop England.

I returned to the Math Department at BE in August of 2005 and joined the ranks of Alma and Desi Runey, both of whom had taught me in the early 80’s! In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I am also the disciplinarian for the Sophomore Class and serve as the faculty advisor for the Sophomore Board. I thoroughly enjoy my work at Bishop England, and I also love having two of my children here with me. Ryan is now a senior and Molly is a sophomore. My other two girls attend Blessed Sacrament School - Maddie is in the eighth grade, and Allie is in the sixth. I look forward to many more years at Bishop England, and to the continuation of our family’s tradition of service to Bishop England. It’s truly in our blood!
